Revolver is dedicated to providing comprehensive coverage of cultural events and entertainment in the bustling metropolitan Santiago area and beyond.
Revolver Chile
Revolver Chile is the parent media group of Revolver Santiago Magazine, Flashray Photography, Tu Closet, Newswire Chile and The Bullet Podcast Show.
The Executive Director of Revolver Chile is Robert Silva (robert@revolverchile.com).
History
Founded in July 2008 as "Revolver Magazine" by Robert Silva with Adam Fuller, Elaine Ramirez, Jason Snyder and Galen Brown,
Revolver has received interns and staff members from Australia, Chile, Argentina, Cuba, Italy, England, the USA, New Zealand,
Poland, Romania, India, Norway, Germany, France, Jordan, Canada, Russia and Brazil. In 2009 "Revolver Magazine" began to operate
under the name "Revolver Santiago Magazine" and continues to produce original content covering Chilean arts and entertainment.
In September 2008 Revolver began an online radio show in Santiago with Heather Teige and Adam Fuller as hosts. Matt Dillinger
later joined the show which featured exclusive interviews and in-studio performances by Chilean artists and personalities such as
Daniel Munoz, Denisse Malebran, Angelo Pierattini, Dioscoro Rojas, and Camila Moreno. The show took a break after the departure
of all three hosts from Chile but returned in December 2009 with a new team under the direction of Shawn Strange.
January 2010 marked the official launch of Flashray, a website dedicated to photography in Chile featuring the images created by
Revolver photographers. Flashray is operating under the direction of Sofia Carvajal. March 2010 also marks the expected launch
of "Tu Closet," a website covering the fashion scene in Chile, and Newswire Chile, a website featuring immediate press releases on the Entertainment industry in Chile. Tu Closet will operate under the direction of Ameriga Gianonne.
